Borge Kirke

In Borg in Vestvågøy, the modern church stands on a hill to the west of the Viking farm Lofotr. The church, which was designed by the local architect Knut Gjernes, is humorously referred to by locals as “the ski jump” due to its upwardly soaring character, creating a strong relation to the surrounding mountain peaks.
