Haukland Beach Cafe is located by Haukland Beach in Lofoten and serves as a natural meeting place for both local residents and visitors to the area. The café is a place where you can take a break, enjoy a good meal, and appreciate the close connection to the sea and the surrounding nature. Many people stop by after spending time on the beach, going for a mountain hike, or simply to sit down for a while and enjoy something good to eat and drink.
We place great emphasis on homemade food and local ingredients. The food we serve is prepared from scratch in our kitchen, and whenever possible, we use ingredients sourced from the surrounding area. Our aim is to offer a simple and honest menu with good flavors — food that suits both an active day outdoors and a relaxed meal with family and friends.
In addition to running the café, we also offer kayak and SUP (stand-up paddleboard) rentals. Many people want to experience the area from the sea, and paddling provides a calm and different way to explore the coastline. Equipment can be rented directly from us, whether you already have experience or simply want to try something new.
Haukland Beach Cafe aims to be an informal and welcoming place where people can meet, enjoy good food, and experience the area in a simple and accessible way.
The café is open every day except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
