About

Fish and fascinating sea creatures from the waters surrounding Lofoten.

The Lofoten Aquarium has daily feedings of the otter and seals. Fun for big and small! Get to know the life that moves beneath the surface and hides in the deep – from crustaceans to sea cucumbers and a special aquarium for Northeast Arctic cod, also known as skrei. Learn more about the traditional winter fisheries for skrei in the film “The Ocean Dance”. On the dock you can see a salmon farm up close and learn about aquaculture. There is also a gift shop and a café with a wonderful sea view. (Closed Dec–Jan for annual maintenance.)

The Lofoten Aquarium is a part of SKREI and is located within walking distance from The Lofoten Museum and The Espolin Gallery. Visit all three with a combination ticket!
