The Tour and Climbing: The tour begins with a briefing at the parking lot below ‘The Goat,’ where the climbing equipment is fitted, and expectations are clarified before we ascend the Sherpa steps. We walk at a leisurely pace to enjoy the beautiful views and learn more about local history, flora/fauna, and climbing.

After about a 40-minute hike, we reach the foot of Svolværgeita, and from here, we climb two rope lengths towards the horns. The route is graded around 4+5, and it’s excellent rock climbing with a beautiful view of the Vestfjord and the Lofoten Mountains. The climbing can feel steep and challenging. At the top, we capture the moment and are happy to take a short break before we rappel down to the starting point. From there, we head back to town.
