About

4 day multi-day yacht charter with 2 full days of fishing

Lofoten is one of the best fishing destinations because of the abundance in marine life due to a sustained, clean and balanced ecosystem. For thousands of years, the arctic Atlantic cod (skrei) have migrated from the Barents Sea to the northern Norwegian coast to spawn between February and March. This Lofoten fishery was a key factor in the foundation of Norway’s development as a country and is still one of the world’s largest seasonal fisheries. The majority of the cod have been and are still caught in Lofoten.
On this weekend fishing trip, you will be fishing with a fishing rod or reel, and no experience is needed. Whether you are a seasoned fisher or beginner, the crew will help teach you how to use the equipment onboard the yacht. The chances of catching a big Atlantic cod are almost guaranteed. The fish can be prepared for your meal onboard, or you can bring it home. Learn about the Atlantic cod and the history of this incredible Lofoten fishery and enjoy the luxury of living aboard a yacht.
Experience the spectacular nature and picturesque views in Lofoten while aboard sailing yacht Stella Oceana. We provide a classy, comfortable, spacious and relaxed atmosphere with friendly and professional crew. On this tour, you can expect to catch a big Atlantic cod, capture great photos, relax in the hot tub, watch for northern lights and eat fresh fish.
The cruise starts and ends in Svolvær.
