There are several good fishing spots close to the cabins with opportunities to catch cod, halibut, redfish, pollock and catfish. Vestfjorden, Nappstraumen and Buksnesfjorden are all just a quick boat ride away. If the wind happens to be strong one place, it is always possible to find shelter another place.
From January 1st to April 1st, the weather can be somewhat unstable. During this period you will only have to pay for the boat during the days where the weather allows you to use it.
