This seven hour tour is a cultural immersion experience where you’ll get to try fishing your own meal, be guided through historical exhibits around the island of Skrova on a walking tour, have your catch tastefully prepared by a local chef and eat in a historical building. Sit back and relax in the hot tub on the return sail as you enjoy the scenery of the Lofoten Islands. This is a great activity day for small groups or families who want to immerse themselves in a day in the life of a northern Norwegian fishing village. Tour Schedule:
09:00 – 12:00 | 3 hours of fishing
12:00 – 13:00 | 1 hour guided walking tour of Skrova
13:00 – 15:00 | 3-course dining experience in a historical Skrova building with the fish you caught
15:00 – 16:00 | 1-hour return sail with hot tub
Enjoy this tour aboard a luxurious and comfortable sailing yacht with professional, experienced and friendly crew. With 2 outer decks and a large interior saloon, there is plenty of space for all guests to enjoy the tour themselves or with each other. The yacht, S/Y Stella Oceana, is 118 tons, 32 meters long, 5 meters wide and has an ice classification. All of these features, along with the yacht’s former Norwegian Coast Guard Sea Captain, make the ship extremely safe and stable to sail in arctic Norway.
