For more than a century, the picturesque village of Henningsvær, spread over several tiny islands, has been one of the most important fishing villages along the coast of Lofoten. On this tour, we will sail at a relaxed pace along the coast from Svolvær to Henningsvær between islets and reefs while admiring the majestic mountains around the Lofoten coast.
Right before arriving at Henningsvær, we will pass by Vågakallen. With its 943 meters, it is one of the area’s tallest mountains, whose name translates as “The old fellow from Vågan.”
Even though Henningsvær was built around the fishing industry, it’s so much more than just a fishing village nowadays. This vibrant small town where entrepreneurs and artists have settled, has a hipster-like vibe thanks to its numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops selling locally made products that you can explore while strolling through town. In addition, Henningsvær is home to the world’s most unique soccer field located at the tip of the island surrounded by rocks and water.
Those of you who will participate in a multi-day tour will stay for the night in Henningsvær, while the other guests will eventually sail back towards Svolvær.

Meet up at our basecamp at Kirkegata 17 in Svolvær, 5-10 minutes prior to departure. We recommend dressing in warm layers as it can be cold at sea.
