Join Arctic Whale Tours for a full Arctic wildlife safari from the fishing village of Stø in Vesterålen.
This tour is ideal for guests who want more than a short whale watching trip. From Stø, we sail into rich Arctic waters where whales, seabirds, seals, and other marine wildlife may be seen depending on the day, season, and natural wildlife activity.
During the safari, we search for whales in their natural habitat and visit areas known for impressive seabird life, including puffins and other Arctic seabirds during the summer season. The journey also offers beautiful views of the wild coastline around Stø, making the tour a complete nature experience at sea.
The tour is operated with Blasius II, a comfortable and stable catamaran with heated indoor seating, toilets, and open outdoor decks for wildlife viewing and photography. Throughout the trip, our experienced guides share knowledge about the whales, seabirds, local marine environment, and the unique wildlife found along the coast of Vesterålen.
Hot drinks, biscuits, and warm soup are included on board.
As with all wildlife experiences, sightings can never be guaranteed. If no whales or other cetaceans are seen during your tour, our Whale Pass gives you the opportunity to join another available tour for free within 12 months.
The tour is family-friendly and runs during the summer season from June to August, subject to weather, sea conditions, and availability.
