During the winter, the northern lights may be enjoyed from an opera box vantage point in the open Kabelvåg fields.
Strap on your skis that await you outside your Nordland-style residence and enjoy an evening on the skiing trails, with the northern lights sparkling magically directly overhead. Or enjoy the excitement of the slopes, where the ski cabin is open to welcome you, and where coffee and waffles are sold during the weekends.
Alpine and cross-country trails from Småtindene are an experience of their own.
During the summertime, a trip in the hiking areas surrounding Kabelvåg is an experience in itself, through easy and pleasant terrain.

The Nordland-style house is tastefully and fully furnished, with painted log walls in all rooms. The house is designed for self-service housekeeping. Smoking is not allowed in the Nordlandshus .
