Gammelbua Restaurant has been carefully restored and is today a place where guests can enjoy excellent cuisine based on the best local products, including excellent stockfish. The restaurant also offers vegan and vegetarian dishes.
We prepare the food in both traditional and international styles, offering many exciting dishes based on local ingredients. Fresh fish and meat dishes are adjusted according to the season, ensuring an authentic culinary experience from Lofoten.
Gammelbua can accommodate up to 72 people spread across three different rooms. Guests can enjoy outdoor seating area as well, with fantastic views of the beautiful surroundings.
On winter evenings, our guests can warm up by the fireplace and during midnight sun they can enjoy the non-setting sun on our terrace. Regardless of the season, Gammelbua serves delicious breakfasts (reservations required), lunches (summer months) and dinners.
Gammelbua Restaurant is open from February to October.
