Whale safari is a spectacular experience for the whole family. Off the coast of Andøy, we have up to 10 different whale species, and the types of whales we see on our tours can vary. The most well-known are perhaps the orca and the sperm whale, but we may also encounter pilot whales, fin whales, minke whales, and several dolphin species.
The whale field is located close to Andøy, and our guides are highly knowledgeable and skilled at sharing information about the whales we observe.
We combine adventure with learning and research. This is an innovative and unique concept that has attracted national and international attention. Included in your ticket is a visit to our brand-new whale exhibition, where you can see three large whale skeletons, among other things. We also offer regular lectures at the Whale Center on the research being conducted. These take place every day at 5:00 PM, except when the researchers have weekly meetings. Feel free to ask us in advance if you’re interested in our lectures. Welcome to an unforgettable experience!
Please note! Nature and wildlife are unpredictable and cannot be guaranteed. However, we have about a 95% success rate for whale sightings on our tours! If we don’t see any whales, you can join a new tour at no extra cost, subject to availability. You also have the option to return at a later date; you will never lose the opportunity for another tour. Please note that we do not offer refunds.
