Join Arctic Whale Tours for a guided whale watching safari from Andenes, one of Northern Norway’s most iconic places to experience whales in the wild.
Just outside Andenes, deep and nutrient-rich waters create excellent conditions for marine wildlife. During the summer season, we mainly search for sperm whales, while other whale and dolphin species may also be seen depending on the day, season, and natural wildlife activity.
Our tour is designed for guests who want a comfortable and educational wildlife experience at sea. The boat has heated indoor seating, toilets, and open outdoor decks where you can enjoy the views, take photos, and watch for whales together with our crew.
Throughout the safari, our experienced guides share knowledge about the whales, the ocean environment, and the wildlife found along the coast of Andøya and Vesterålen.
Hot drinks, biscuits, and warm soup are included on board, making this a comfortable experience even on cooler Arctic summer days.
As with all wildlife experiences, sightings can never be guaranteed. If no whales or other cetaceans are seen during your tour, our Whale Pass gives you the opportunity to join another available tour for free within 12 months.
The tour is family-friendly and runs during the summer season from May to September, subject to weather, sea conditions, and availability.
