Bus 300 from Narvik to Svolvær takes four hours. On this journey, you’ll experience diverse landscapes through Lofast, which is Lofoten’s mainland connection. This road was opened in 2007 and is now part of European Route 10. The view from Raftsund Bridge is fantastic. You can see almost the entire Raftsundet from the bridge. Further west, you’ll pass Lofoten’s highest mountain, Higravstinden, located at the beginning of the beautiful Austnesfjorden. Once you arrive in Svolvær, you can visit one of the many galleries or simply take a stroll on the pier to admire the statue “Fiskarkona” (The Fisherman’s Wife).
