Here you can either follow the main road at Gims\u00f8y or go from Barstrand to Hov. This is a great area along the Gims\u00f8y-current with long white sandy beaches that makes the ride very pleasant and it is a perfect place to see the midnight sun.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The route continues over the Sundklakk-bridge onto county road 815. Here you continue towards Stamsund on the Valberg road. In Svolv\u00e6r you can get all the gear you need, have service on your bike at Sport1 in Alti Svolv\u00e6r Shopping mall, and even rent a bike at Lofoten Rorbuer AS. When you\u2019re ready, head out a long side E10, then later on E10, towards Stamsund.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"map-route-dropdown\"><div class=\"map-route-dropdown-icon-wrapper\"><div class=\"map-route-dropdown-icon\">2<\/div><\/div><div class=\"map-route-dropdown__title-text-wrapper\"><h3 class=\"map-route-dropdown__title\"><span>Kabelv\u00e5g (detour)<\/span><\/h3><p class=\"map-route-dropdown__text\">There\u2019s a few detours you can make on the way. The first is in Kabelv\u00e5g where you can stop by the local cafe \u201cHj\u00f8rnet Kaf\u00e9 Kabelv\u00e5g\u201d. Consider stopping by Lofoten Glass, and Lille Kabelv\u00e5g art gallery, or bike all the way out on the Kabelv\u00e5g molo and check out the lighthouse there.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"map-route-dropdown\"><div class=\"map-route-dropdown-icon-wrapper\"><div class=\"map-route-dropdown-icon\">3<\/div><\/div><div class=\"map-route-dropdown__title-text-wrapper\"><h3 class=\"map-route-dropdown__title\"><span>Henningsv\u00e6r (detour)<\/span><\/h3><p class=\"map-route-dropdown__text\">The second detour is to stop by Henningsv\u00e6r. It\u2019s pretty far from E10, so only consider stopping by if you have the time and the legs for added distance.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"map-route-dropdown\"><div class=\"map-route-dropdown-icon-wrapper\"><div class=\"map-route-dropdown-icon\">4<\/div><\/div><div class=\"map-route-dropdown__title-text-wrapper\"><h3 class=\"map-route-dropdown__title\"><span>Gims\u00f8y (detour)<\/span><\/h3><p class=\"map-route-dropdown__text\">The third detour is to cycle the main road at Gims\u00f8y or go from Barstrand to Hov. At Hov G\u00e5rd, you can stretch your legs on the local beach or visit the L\u00e5ven Resturant for a coffee or something to eat.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"map-route-dropdown\"><div class=\"map-route-dropdown-icon-wrapper\"><div class=\"map-route-dropdown-icon\">5<\/div><\/div><div class=\"map-route-dropdown__title-text-wrapper\"><h3 class=\"map-route-dropdown__title\"><span>Stamsund<\/span><\/h3><p class=\"map-route-dropdown__text\">As you pedal on towards Stamsund and turn left off E10, onto Valbergsveien you enter a much calmer road than E10. Enjoy the road as it slings between small communities and small inlets until you reach Stamsund. On your arrival, how about a visit to the art gallery \u201cGalleri 2\u201d? And if you\u2019re hungry, stop by Live Lofoten Restaurant for some local seafood?<br><br><strong>Tip!<\/strong> If you&#8217;re planning to return to Svolv\u00e6r from Stamsund, you can travel with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hurtigruten.no\/havn-til-havn\/#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hurtigruten<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/prod.havilavoyages.com\/touchhvl\/#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Havila Kystruten<\/a> using their port-to-port tickets. Departures are available after 19:00 with prices starting at NOK 88,-.
