From Svolv\u00e6r you can drive to Vester\u00e5len, Narvik, Harstad or Troms\u00f8, or you can take the ferry from L\u00f8dingen to Bognes and then drive E6 southbound. You can also do this route the other way around or drive back the way you came from and take the ferry back to Bod\u00f8. It\u2019s all about how much time you want to spend and what you would like to experience. There are plenty of reasons for spending more than 3 nights in Lofoten. We recommend you take it easy so you can find peace and quiet in Lofoten, but if you do not have much time, this is a great starting point for a magical family car holiday in Lofoten. You find travel information and time tables&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ruteinfo.thn.no\/no\/default.aspx?rnr=82\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">her<\/a>e.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you arrive in Lofoten and Moskenes, you are in the middle of the iconic Lofoten nature. From here you drive direction \u00c5, which is 10 minutes further out in Lofoten at the end of the E 10. When arriving in \u00c5, park the car and visit the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/visitlofoten.com\/Museum\/?Article=148\">Norwegian Fishing Village Museum.<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;This is where the whole family will get a flying start to the Lofoten experience and maybe you take a picture on the pier with the head of a dried monkfish.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/visitlofoten.com\/sites\/l\/visitlofoten.com\/files\/kjell_ove_storvik_fiksevaer.jpg?thumbnail=1200x\" alt=\"Norsk Fiskev\u00e6rsmuseum - Kjell Ove Storvik\"\/ height=\"\" width=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the way to Flakstad and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/visitlofoten.com\/flakstad\/lofoten-beach-camp\"><strong>Lofoten Beach Camp<\/strong><\/a>, you will pass many beautiful\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/visitlofoten.com\/en\/see-and-do-in-moskenes\/\"><strong>places<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with a lot to offer. If it is a beach day and the kids are ready, drive straight to Lofoten Beach Camp and enjoy the coral sand.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you or the weather are not ready for a day on the beach, there are plenty of other\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/visitlofoten.com\/en\/see-and-do-in-moskenes\/\"><strong>possibilities<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 2:&nbsp;From Lofoten Beach Camp to Hov G\u00e5rd<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lofoten Beach Camp, Flakstad, Norway &#8211; Lofoten Links, 389 Tore Hjortsvei, Norway&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/visitlofoten.com\/sites\/l\/visitlofoten.com\/files\/foto_kjell_ove_storvik_lofotr_vikingmuseum_1.jpeg?thumbnail=1200x\" alt=\"Museum Nord - Lofotr\"\/ height=\"\" width=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a morning near the roaring sea, you set the course towards Hov Horse Farm. On the way there, you will pass Leknes, a perfect place to get some shopping done and buy the things you need on your trip. Your first stop on the way to Hov is&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/visitlofoten.com\/top10\/lofotr-museum\"><strong>Lofotr Viking Museum at Borg.<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;This is a place where the whole family can learn about history not only in the exhibitions, but also in an impressive reconstruction of the biggest house discovered from the Viking Age.
