The town received its first legal status in 1918, recognizing its role as a vibrant fishing and trading center. Over the years, it has remained a bustling harbor community.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since then, Svolv\u00e6r has evolved into a lively coastal hub and one of Lofoten\u2019s main entry points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here, you can enjoy small-town urban life surrounded by dramatic nature.
